In 1960, JEAN D'ARCEL COSMETIQUE was founded by Paul Sergent in Paris, and both the name and logo were registered as trade marks. In 1976 a decision to found JEAN D'ARCEL Germany was made and important sections of the company were transferred to Kehl.
